Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Discipline : RN
- Duration : 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift : 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type : Local Contract
- Number of Beds - 14
- Number of Staff – 8 RNs per shift
- Type of staff : 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs per shift
- Patient Ratios – 2 : 1, 1 : 1
- Type of equipment – Alaris IV pumps,
- EMR - EPIC
- Typical Procedures : Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion
- Floating : Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first- MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU.
