The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure environment for employees, vendors, customers, and guests. Guards monitor the premises and perform facility procedures such as patrolling & facility checks, access control, incident response, surveillance & monitoring, dress code and food compliance, and collaboration with other factory personnel. Guards are the first line of defense against any unauthorized access, theft, or safety hazards.

Physical Requirements to Perform this Job : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment and Conditions :

Works in a food manufacturing environment where the plant is in operation 1-2 shifts per day. Climate controlled environment with occasional exposure to high heat and humidity (105ºF - 110ºF) in kitchen and tank room areas. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in some area. Overtime / weekend work occasionally necessary.
