Main Job Responsibilities
Provide excellent, professional customer serviceAccurately and efficiently scan and key items into registerReceive and process all payments according to PCC standardsPerform basic math skills and proficient at 10-keyCommunicate effectively about PCC's membership and programsHandle merchandise returnsBag groceries according to PCC bagging guidelinesMaintain an orderly appearance at the registerEnsures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are metQualifications and Skills
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer serviceAvailable to work a variety of shifts including mornings, mid-day shifts and weekendsMust demonstrate basic math skills and proficiency at 10-keyExcellent attention to detail and multitasking skillsPrevious retail or public customer contact experience desired; background in cashiering or retail grocery industry preferredMust be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularlyA current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageBenefits and Perks
