Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem role seeks an experienced clinical pharmacist to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. The position involves coverage in a 24 / 7 pharmacy setting, primarily providing PTO and vacation relief across 1st to 3rd shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy practice, with a focus on clinical and consultative pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and verify medication orders for both inpatients and outpatients, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Interpret orders with attention to allergies, drug interactions, dosing, and therapeutic needs
• Enter and audit medication orders in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Prepare and pound medications, including sterile and hazardous products, while supervising pharmacy technicians
• Ensure pliance with sterile techniques and proper patibility of IV admixtures
• Provide specialized clinical support such as renal dosing, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), pharmacokinetics, and support in various clinical specialties including NICU, oncology, cardiology, and surgery
• Educate patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage and drug information
• Oversee regulatory pliance, audit medication storage, and participate in quality assurance and controlled substance monitoring programs
