Box Truck Driver- Ontario, CA

Adecco is currently assisting our client in Ontario, CA hire a Delivery Box Truck Driver. This is a great temp-to-hire job opportunity with great Monday-Friday schedule.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 00 am- 3 : 30pm

Pay : $22.50

Requirements :

• Class C Drivers License
• Clean Driving Record
• Delivery Driver Experience- 1 year minimum
• Able to work Overtime upon business need
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
• Safe Driving - Operate the company van safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Timely Deliveries - Plan and manage routes effectively to complete deliveries on schedule throughout Ontario and surrounding areas.
• Loading and Unloading : Safely load and unload manufactured goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Packing Slip Management -
• Collect Signatures : Ensure that each delivery includes a properly completed packing slip with the customer's signature as proof of delivery.
• Verification : Cross-check that the details on the packing slip match the delivered items.
• Documentation : Securely file the signed packing slips and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediately.

1. Documentation - Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or issues encountered.

2. Occasionally use pallet jacks to move or transport heavy items safely.

3. Customer Service - Provide excellent service by interacting professionally with customers, addressing any delivery-related questions or concerns.

4. Vehicle Maintenance - Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on the van. Promptly report any mechanical or safety issues to management.

5. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.

6. Compliance - Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and local / state / federal laws related to transportation and delivery services.

7. Wear the company-provided uniform at all times during work hours to maintain a professional and consistent company image.

• Pay Details : $22.50 per hour
