About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Days)

Facility : Andrew J. Kirch Dialysis Center – Rochester St. Mary’s

Health System : Rochester Regional Health System (MSP)

Location : 75 Genesee St, Rochester, NY 14611

Contract Type : Travel | Duration : 13 Weeks

Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 | Shift : 3x12s, Days (05 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Schedule : Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; occasional Sundays for holidays

Position Details

Primary Role : Charge Nurse / Team Leader – runs a 4-patient pod

Duties : Stringing and setting up Fresenius dialysis machines; initiate and monitor dialysis; patient care and symptom management; respond to alarms and emergencies

Float : Yes – to other Rochester dialysis locations

Charting System : Epic (required)

Equipment : Fresenius 20008T, Prismaflex (for CRRT

Patient Setting : Outpatient & Chronic Dialysis preferred

Requirements

License : Active NY RN License (required, in hand to submit)

Experience : 1+ year RN experience; charge / team lead experience required

Certifications : AHA BLS (required)

Skills Required :

Cannulation of AV fistula / graft

Dialysate conductivity testing

Tunneled / non-tunneled catheter management

Blood and blood product administration

Management of complications (e.g., air emboli, hypotension, hemolysis, etc.)

EMR : Epic – mandatory
