Cardiologist

Overview

Position Summary : The Cardiologist is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients through diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart and vascular conditions. This role encompasses both inpatient consultations and outpatient clinical services while maintaining the highest standards of medical care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and cardiac catheterizations
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, physical examinations, and medical histories
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Provide emergency cardiac consultation services and participate in on-call rotation schedule
• Perform outpatient procedures within scope of practice and facility capabilities
