The Dispatcher performs a variety of duties, including data entry, dispatching drivers on their routes, answering phones, receiving, and communicating information and performing other technical and administrative functions, as required. The primary goal of this role is to provide information in a timely and efficient manner.

Starting pay for the role is $21.10 per hour

Schedule : Monday to Friday 10am to 6 : 30 pm (with flexibility to open / close as needed)

Qualifications for the Dispatcher :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Positive customer relations skills, including good decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with employees and the general public
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the Denver Metro area and other transportation providers as potential referrals
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time
  • Full range of sense of hearing
  • Full range of speech, including audibility, annunciation and projection
  • Use of hands (manual dexterity) for office and communications equipment controls and paperwork
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Competent computer skills
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is strongly preferred
