Position Summary
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Inspect and / or replace air, fuel, oil, transmission, hydraulic, etc., filters on heavy construction equipment as prescribed by the manufacturer
- Grease and lubricate automotive and heavy construction equipment
- Fuel off road equipment
- Account for all fuel and lubricants dispensed from fuel truck
- Inspect machines for maintenance deficiencies and report findings to heavy equipment supervisor
- Maintain records on preventive maintenance on each completed piece of equipment
- Operate automotive and construction equipment as necessary
- Perform daily fuel / oil vehicle maintenance
- Accurately report hour meter readings to Maintenance department
- Perform related work as required

The ideal candidate possesses the education and experience listed below.
One year certificate from college or technical school.Minimum one year experience and / or training in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES :
Valid CDL license Class B required with Haz Mat and tanker endorsementClass A preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment
