Overview

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work closely with our Principals in our civil / site practice to plan and execute projects within our commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors, c ommunicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, and grow your career. You'll coordinate with other practices (including environmental, ecological and surveying practices) to address project-specific needs. You will also manage / mentor staff and attend industry organization and client meetings.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for :

Utilizing your network to develop business for the Detroit office

• Work with the team to design and oversee all aspects of projects which will include site layout, grading, stormwater management, water quality best management practices, utilities, and construction details
• Responsible for Quality Control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers
• Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from concept, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.
