Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a detail-oriented environment. This contract position is part-time, requiring availability from 1 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking and organization while providing essential administrative services to ensure smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
• Manage schedules and appointments effectively to ensure optimal time utilization.
• Distribute incoming and outgoing mail in a timely and organized manner.
• Create and process purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to inbound calls in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries or redirecting them appropriately.
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide receptionist support by greeting visitors and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to support administrative projects and tasks as needed.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative or office support roles.
• Proficiency in managing schedules, handling mail distribution, and processing purchase requisitions.
• Strong communication skills to handle inbound calls and interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
• Experience in receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing front desk responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with common office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
