Scottsdale Waterfront Residences, the premier luxury high-rise condominium in the Southwest, is seeking a highly skilled

• Facility Technician – Central Plant & Common Area
• to join our Engineering & Facilities team. This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical building systems in a sophisticated residential environment.

• a typical technician role. We are looking for an experienced professional who brings a high level of technical expertise and commitment to service excellence in one of the most exclusive residential communities in the region.
• Key Responsibilities
• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life safety, and control systems.
• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for complex systems including boilers, cooling towers, pumps, makeup air units, generators, elevators, and BAS.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and contribute to long-term planning of system upkeep.
• Conduct inspections in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and equipment spaces, and document all findings accurately.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and assist in resolving critical issues efficiently.
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication with residents and team members.
• Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or trade school training preferred.
• Relevant experience in building or facilities maintenance; equivalent technical experience considered.
• EPA Universal Certification (CFC) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of building systems in high-rise environments, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Proficiency in reading technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong computer literacy required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or equivalent federal clearance.
• Understanding of proper use of PPE and familiarity with OSHA regulations required.

• Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple technical disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with initiative and follow-through.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Knowledge of applicable safety standards, building codes, and compliance regulations.
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and ladder use.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights, or in extreme temperatures with proper PPE.
• Availability for emergency and on-call duty, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work Environment
• Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments, including mechanical and rooftop areas.
• Exposure to high noise levels, electrical components, chemical agents, and mechanical hazards.
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule is required.
