Chiropractor — Confidential Search

Conducted by Signal & Strand

About the Opportunity

Signal & Strand has been retained to lead a confidential search for a Doctor of Chiropractic on behalf of a modern, movement-based chiropractic and sports recovery practice in Southern California.

This practice blends chiropractic care, active rehabilitation, and advanced recovery modalities to create a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Their model centers on one-on-one, movement-driven care — empowering patients to move better, recover faster, and live without limits.

The ideal candidate is an engaged, energetic practitioner who thrives in an active-care setting, enjoys working with motivated clients, and brings both clinical skill and curiosity to helping people optimize their performance and well-being.

Role Overview

The Chiropractor will provide individualized, movement-focused care within an integrated, evidence-based model. This position requires technical precision, strong communication, and a passion for blending manual therapy, corrective exercise, and recovery science.

The role offers meaningful autonomy, professional growth, and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team committed to redefining how people experience chiropractic and performance care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations including history, physical / orthopedic / neuro assessment, and postural or movement screening.

Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with the clinic's philosophy (active model + manual intervention + recovery / support modalities).

Perform chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies (e.g., myofascial release, IASTM) as appropriate.

Incorporate supervised rehabilitative exercise, mobility / stability programming, and recovery technologies (e.g., Normatec, percussion therapy) into client plans.

Educate clients about their condition, movement strategies, self-management exercises, and long-term maintenance of function.

Collaborate with other team members (e.g., recovery specialists, trainers) to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.

Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, treatment plans, outcomes tracking, and compliance with regulatory / clinic protocols.

Stay informed of current research, best practices, sports-medicine approaches, and recovery modalities relevant to the practice.

Contribute to clinic culture : welcoming, encouraging, motivating clients; supporting the team; participating in growth initiatives (e.g., workshops, community outreach).

Support business operations : scheduling, patient retention, case management, referral networks, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid California chiropractic license (or eligibility for licensure).

1+ years of experience in a chiropractic or sports-medicine setting preferred; motivated new graduates will also be considered.

Proficiency in chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies.

Knowledge and experience with rehabilitative exercise, movement screening, and performance enhancement.

Comfort working with active populations (sports, fitness, mobility recovery) and clients seeking both pain relief and performance improvement.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to educate and motivate clients, build rapport, and deliver exceptional service.

Team-oriented, positive mindset that aligns with a culture of empowerment and movement improvement.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.

Tech-savvy — comfortable with EMR systems, digital scheduling, and outcome tracking.

(Optional but preferred) Additional certifications or training in sports chiropractic (e.g., CCSP), myofascial release, recovery modalities, movement screening, or functional training.

Compensation & Structure

Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
