Responsibilities :
Travel nationwide for 13 week assignments.Provide physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.Attend and contribute to patient care, staffing conferences, and other required meetings.Deliver rehab services; adhere to an established plan of care, department, and patient(s) schedule.Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities.Assist the Physical Therapist when performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.Instruct patients, families, and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program.Maintain appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.Clean, maintain, identify, and report the need for repair of equipment.Put patient service first; ensure that patients and families receive the highest quality of service.Provide individualized physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, airway clearance techniques, integumentary repair and protection.Organize and facilitate treatment groups in collaboration with the physical therapist.Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.Licensed and / or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.Must be available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home.Posted salary range : USD $45.00 - USD $50.00 / Hr.Genesis HealthCare, Inc. and all affiliated entities has a strong commitment to diversity that is fully supported and practiced by our officers and leadership team.
