- Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal for a 12-week part-time engagement to support complex litigation matters involving large corporate clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in discovery, privilege log preparation, and electronic document review. This role is best suited for a detail-oriented professional who can work efficiently with minimal supervision and produce precise, high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesDocument Review & E-DiscoveryConduct comprehensive review, tagging, and redaction of documents using e-discovery platforms.Identify key documents and assist in factual analysis, issue coding, and privilege determinations.Coordinate with counsel and vendors to ensure data integrity and review consistency.Privilege Log PreparationDraft detailed privilege logs consistent with firm standards and case requirements.Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate entries, consistent terminology, and compliance with applicable court rules.Collaborate with attorneys to confirm privilege designations and resolve discrepancies.Litigation SupportAssist in the organization, indexing, and maintenance of case files, discovery databases, and deposition exhibits.Track discovery deadlines and ensure timely submissions.Support counsel with factual development, cite checking, and legal research as needed.Writing & EditingReview and edit non-legal correspondence, internal memoranda, and reports for grammar, clarity, and tone.Maintain consistency in style and accuracy across all work product.Administrative CoordinationCommunicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and vendors.Manage confidential and sensitive materials with discretion.Ensure all assigned work meets established deadlines and quality expectations.Required QualificationsEducation :Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved or accredited institution (required).Experience :Minimum of10 years of experienceas a litigation paralegal supporting complex matters.Extensive experience defending large corporations in federal and / or state court litigation.Proven track record drafting detailed privilege logs and managing e-discovery review projects.Technical Skills :Proficiency in e-discovery software (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, or similar).Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments).Core Skills & AttributesExceptional reading comprehension and ability to process large volumes of material quickly.Fast and accurate typist with strong attention to detail.Advanced grammar and proofreading skills for editing and quality control.Organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with supervising attorneys.ScheduleCommitment :Approximately 21 hours per week for 12 weeks (flexible scheduling available).
