Senior Linux System Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the final escalation point for complex server, hosting, and network-related issues

Manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based hosting environments

Develop and maintain automation scripts for server provisioning and configuration management

Required Qualifications

11+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in a web hosting or cloud environment

7+ years of experience in a Senior position or Level 3 Engineer role

Expert knowledge of KVM and Libvirt with a minimum of 7+ years of experience

Strong scripting ability in Perl, Bash, and Python

Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
