- Unit : 31 Operating Rooms, 1 : 1 patient ratio\n
- Scrubs : Provided by facility\n
- Estimated Weekly Pay : $1740 - $1860\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky – Kentucky RN jobs\n
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred\n
- Strong clinical skills in high-acuity surgical patient care preferred\n
- Experience with neuro, orthopedic (robotics / arthroscopic), thoracic, vascular, transplant, and ENT / radical neck procedures is a plus\n
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and advanced surgical equipment (Mako, DaVinci, O-Arm, Rosa robots) beneficial\n
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a technologically advanced operating room\n
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, including surgical instruments and equipment\n
- Provide patient advocacy and support throughout the perioperative experience\n
- Participate in call rotation and scheduled weekend shifts\n
- Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude, assisting across multiple surgical service lines as needed\n
