Job descriptionTypical ER coverage hours with balanced practitioner staffing Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting ( 55,000 annual visits) Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired Join a physician-led team with excellent compensation, benefits, and institutional support from Pediatrix Experience a rich mix of pathology and patient acuity in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment A 24-hour dedicated pediatric Emergency Room that doesn t just treat kids, we only treat kids. A level II Trauma Center A specialized neonatal and pediatric transport team to safely transport children to a waiting team of experts. The state s largest, most comprehensive Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to treat patients needing a higher level of care. A dedicated pediatric pharmacy with specially trained pediatric pharmacists and technicians. A heart program so comprehensive we are the only hospital in Nevada with the ability to perform pediatric open heart surgery. A Labor & Delivery Unit that provides safe, advanced care for the most routine to the most complex deliveries. Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine REQUIRED Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine - REQUIRED Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain REQUIRED Clean malpractice and medical license history HIGHLY PREFERRED Does provider already live in the area or they willing to relocate? - REQUIRED Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? - REQUIRED
