Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity in Northern California Located 20m to University town Chico, 65m to Sacramento & on the edge of Tahoe National Forest Position Details - Full-time- Permanent- General Bread & Butter Orthopedist- Independent Contractor- Opportunity for a general orthopedist to join two other orthopedists who enjoys performing the bread and butter surgeries : hips, knees, shoulders.- Call rotation would be 1 : 3 for our emergency services department, which is a Level III Trauma Center. - Hospital-based practice with the business aspect of the practice operated by the Hospital and the physicians sole responsibility the practice of medicine. - The physician is an independent contractor and not employed, 1099 vs W2, compensation is market.- New five-story tower that includes ambulatory care services, intensive care unit, labor and delivery center, and two floors for medical / surgical units. - The overall project doubled the square footage of the hospital and increased beds from 133 to 211. - Hospital offers all services and specialties with the exception of cardio-thoracic surgery and neurosurgery.
