Network Engineer -II (Hybrid)

Job Title :

• Network Engineer -II (Hybrid) Location : Madison, WI Duration : 12 Months Job Description : IT Professional that works in a team responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication.
• This work will primarily work in all aspects of network design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment.
• Engineer, install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, as well as mitigating issues as they arise.
• Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.
• Work is performed at the agency’s nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including the agency’s many secure sites, often independently.
• Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required.
• Day travel is also required, and long days are common.
• Provides documentation / project tracking and management reporting.
