Description : The Treasury Management Assistant Manager assists the Treasury Management Product Services Manager in department duties. They assist in maximizing the business needs from a product by working closely with the Support and Operations staff, Technology team and outside vendors. They are the voice of the bank, the bank's client and the Treasury Management Team. Therefore, must have excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, as well as present excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Adhere to all the departmental expectations and banks standards and policies by general observations.
- Ensure all needs and issues are escalated to the Treasury Product Manager related to customers and employees.
- Coordinate with manager on all new and existing employee training ensuring they are properly notified of processes and procedures.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to obtain feedback, address concerns and / or provide positive feedback related to the team.
- Monitor and prioritize staff workload to ensure work is allocated fair and completed in our established SLA's.
Competencies Required :
General knowledge of Treasury Management products and systems; wire transfers, lockbox, and ACH processing; accounting principles and account analysis.Strong technical skills with intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to troubleshoot treasury management software applications.Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.Excellent analytical and process management skills with strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train internal and external participants.Exceptional organizational, process and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.Strategic and problem-solving mindset with developed analytical skills and strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.Minimum Qualifications / Experience :
10 years banking experience in banking operations industry required.Expertise in Treasury Management and / or Deposit Operations2 years ManagementFormal Education & Certification :
Bachelor's degree preferred.Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and / or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred.Work Status :
Full-Time (On-Site).Travel :
Up to 10% travel expected.Working Conditions :
