This role involves consistent floating between general ICU and PCU units in a large hospital setting (>

300 beds). First-time travelers will not be considered. Key Responsibilities : Provide critical care nursing for patients with complex conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, multi-system trauma, and neurosurgical interventions Perform advanced clinical tasks including IV starts, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, and ventilator management Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 depending on acuity Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes Required Qualifications : Active RN license Minimum 3 years of ICU experience At least 18 months of experience in a hospital with more than 300 beds Epic EMR proficiency BLS and ACLS certifications Strong skills in IV initiation, telemetry, conscious sedation, and ventilator support Preferred Qualifications : CCRN, CPI, TNCC certifications Experience with intracranial pressure monitoring and pulmonary artery lines NIH Stroke Scale certification Patient Population : Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, GI bleeding, cardiac / respiratory arrest, and complex vascular surgery No open-heart or cardiac-specific cases Additional Details : Floating between ICU and PCU units is required Orientation and onboarding details provided upon offer About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
