Dozer Operator

We are currently looking for a Dozer Operator to join our team at our Colonial Parkway project. Reporting to direct field supervision, the Dozer Operator is responsible for proficiently and safely operating all required equipment, to include GPS equipped dozers. The ideal candidate is able to carry out rough grade and finish grade operations, assist with moving dirt and stone, trenches and other tasks. He or She should be able to work independently as well as be able to communicate effectively. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction projects and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines in a safe manner. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.

This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of three (3) years of Heavy Highway experience, operating dozers proficiently
• Familiar with grading, slopes, stormwater / water systems, paving, bridge construction, and other highway construction scopes.
• Experience utilizing GPS systems on a dozer for finish grade operations highly beneficial
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
