Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and a valid CA license or RCIS certification for a day shift travel assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a catheterization lab performing coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker insertions, and peripheral aortograms
  • Support adult cardiology patient population
  • Day shifts available with 4x10 hour scheduling starting at either 6 : 45 AM or 8 : 45 AM
  • Frequent on-call requirements of 8-12 shifts per month, with at least one weekend of call monthly
  • Epic charting system experience is preferred
  • Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Orientation includes completion of online modules, typically completed during the onboarding process
  • Only one major holiday time off will be approved during the contract
  • Return staff or travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being considered for rehire
  • Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
  • License required if applicable

    • Requirements

  • Current CA license and ARRT, or RCIS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring in a Cath Lab
  • BLS certification required, with all certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
  • Experience in coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker procedures, and peripheral aortograms required
  • Ability to meet the 50 mile radius requirement for travel eligibility
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
