Job descriptionWork 40 hours per week in four 10-hour night shifts Schedule : Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights Perform diagnostic radiography procedures and computed tomography scans Operate CT equipment and accessories, selecting appropriate protocols Position patients and equipment to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate display parameters Perform venipunctures and administer contrast media as prescribed Provide patient education and maintain patient comfort during procedures Practice aseptic techniques and initiate basic life support when necessary Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures Maintain archival storage of digitized data and equipment maintenance records Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs Must complete formal Radiologic Technology accredited program American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in radiography and CT required Oregon state license as Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist required Current BLS certification required Bilingual English-Spanish speaking preferred Ability to work with culturally diverse populations desired Referral bonus
