Position Summary :
The Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Medical Data Analysis.The successful candidate will conduct research focused on the development and validation of AI- and machine learning–based methodologies for the analysis and interpretation of complex biomedical data. Specific research areas include :
The postdoctoral researcher will join a multidisciplinary research team consisting of computer scientists, neuroscientists, medical physicists, biostatisticians, and radiologists. This work will build upon the group’s established research program in medical image analysis using artificial intelligence.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related field.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience :
Demonstrated experience in medical image analysis, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or related languages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience :
Experience with research publication.
