Elixir Developer

A company is looking for an Elixir Contractor to design and implement scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Elixir-based APIs, workers, and background jobs

Build reliable and high-performance systems using OTP, Phoenix, and Ecto

Collaborate across product, frontend, and DevOps teams while owning delivery from architecture to monitoring

Required Qualifications

5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in Elixir

Strong knowledge of OTP, Ecto, and Phoenix frameworks

Proven experience building high-performance systems

Solid experience with PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning

Familiarity with AWS services and serverless environments
