An educational organization is seeking a Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse to provide temporary nursing services within school health offices. The nurse will promote wellness, ensure student safety, and respond to both routine and urgent medical needs. Fingerprinting and background clearance are required.

Responsibilities :

Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and school protocols.

Perform student health assessments, respond to emergencies, and document all interventions.

Monitor students with chronic conditions and assist with individualized healthcare plans.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records and assist in screenings or health initiatives.

Communicate observations to supervising registered nurses or school administrators as appropriate.

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse license.

Experience in pediatric or educational healthcare preferred.

Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check required.

Demonstrated reliability, compassion, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of proper medication administration, emergency procedures, and confidentiality laws.
