Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Technician, working closely with New Product Development teams to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality prototypes on schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with New Product Development teams to solve challenges and deliver high-quality prototypes on schedule.
Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment using proper machining techniques, including speeds, feeds, and set-ups.
Program CNC machines using CAM or conversational programming methods.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings with precision and accuracy.
Maintain an adequate inventory of raw materials, tooling, and shop supplies.
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of tools and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide feedback on design and process improvements.
Skills & Qualifications Required
Technical Diploma.
Experience with other design / programming software is a plus.
Willingness to learn new skills, particularly in design and programming software.
Proficiency in engineering and test equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Working knowledge of MasterCAM design / programming software.
Work Environment
The role involves working with various shop equipment, including mills, lathes, and grinders, in a hands-on environment. The work area is maintained to be clean and organized, complying with all safety procedures. The position may require participation in brainstorming sessions and a proactive approach to design and process improvements.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Kohler, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00 / hr.
