Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work in 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU on 4th floor of K building

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 1 : 2, or 1 : 3 during staffing challenges

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement

    • \n

  • Day shift grid staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses

    • \n

  • Night shift grid staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses

    • \n

  • Must have trauma and / or surgical ICU background experience

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : TNCC and ATCN

    • \n

  • Work with specialized equipment including Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, and arterial / CVC lines

    • \n

  • Perform procedures such as central line, chest tube, and arterial line insertions, plus percutaneous tracheostomies

    • \n

  • Use Cerner EMR system

    • \n

  • Float to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, K7 PCU, G7 PCU, and 4H CVPC as needed

    • \n

  • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs (top and bottom) or navy bottom with white top

    • \n

  • Must be team work oriented
