Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments and is passionate about helping organizations simplify and automate cybersecurity compliance. In this role, you'll partner closely with our sales and customer success teams to demonstrate the technical value of Paramify's platform, tailor solutions to client needs, and ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to post-sales.
You will act as the bridge between technical depth and business outcomes—helping customers understand how Paramify can accelerate their compliance journey across frameworks like FedRAMP, GovRAMP, TX-RAMP, SOC 2, and CMMC.
This role offers a hybrid work model with regular in-office attendance required at our Lehi, UT location.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Teams : Support the full sales cycle by delivering technical demos, solution designs, and proof-of-concepts aligned to client objectives.
- Understand Customer Environments : Assess existing security, IT, and compliance infrastructures to map Paramify capabilities to customer pain points and requirements.
- Customize Platform Demonstrations : Showcase Paramify's automation, documentation, and reporting features tailored to each prospect's regulatory framework and maturity level.
- Translate Complex Concepts : Communicate technical concepts clearly to both executive and practitioner audiences—bridging compliance, security, and engineering perspectives.
- Develop Technical Proposals : Create architecture diagrams, compliance mappings, and implementation recommendations that align with client use cases and system boundaries.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback and competitive insights.
- Own Technical Validation : Lead technical Q&A sessions, RFIs / RFPs, and evaluation checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Support Enablement : Contribute to pre-sales playbooks, demo environments, solution briefs, and competitive positioning guides.
- Ensure a Smooth Handoff : Partner with Client Success on transition plans to ensure successful onboarding and early adoption.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve : Maintain deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and GRC automation trends.
Qualifications
3+ years in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role at a SaaS company, preferably in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management.Strong understanding of GRC frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, NIST 800-53 / 171, etc.) and how they map to modern cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Ability to design and present solutions that meet technical and business requirements across multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex security or compliance topics in clear, engaging terms.Experience integrating with security tooling (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, identity management, endpoint protection, etc.) is a plus.Proficiency in tools such as HubSpot, Slack, JIRA, Zendesk, and diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Miro).Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and passion for helping customers succeed.Technical background (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field) preferred; certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CCSK are a plus.Competitive salary and equity options100% company-paid health, dental, and vision coverageFlexible work schedule and hybrid work optionsMinimum of 10 PTO days + 10 paid company holidays100% paid parental leaveProfessional development and certification supportVibrant company culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and growthJoin us at Paramify and be part of a team that is redefining cybersecurity and compliance.Apply now and embark on a rewarding journey filled with opportunities for creativity, learning, and impact!
