Position : Material / Supply Planner

Location : Walkersville, MD

Education : BS or MS in Supply Chain Management (or related field)

We are seeking a Material / Supply Planner to support end-to-end material availability for manufacturing operations. This role is key to ensuring smooth production flow through proactive planning, coordination, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and execute daily MRP results , issue purchase requisitions, and address exception messages to avoid production delays.
• Maintain accurate material master data and planning parameters in SAP ECC to balance service levels, inventory targets, and demand.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Operations, and Scheduling to expedite material availability and resolve supply issues.
• Track and report inventory performance KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform SMOG (scrap / obsolete) analysis , optimize safety stock levels, and support cost control by reducing waste.
• Support creation and updates to SOPs , work instructions, and participate in quality systems (Deviations, CAPA, Change Control).
• Provide backup support for production planning and contribute to project-based activities.
