Job description

What's the Opportunity?

In this role, you'll tackle challenges that go beyond traditional recruiting. As a remote-first company, we are constantly innovating to reach globally dispersed talent and create genuine connections throughout the hiring process.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping new teams, understanding their impact on the business, and developing hiring strategies that drive team and company growth. Acting as a trusted consultant and advisor, you'll provide insights on market trends, share data-driven recommendations, and showcase your expertise in innovative sourcing techniques and process automation.

Our People team is small but mighty, with a mission to become a best-in-class team that attracts and nurtures exceptional talent worldwide. From day one, you'll have the opportunity to bring your technical expertise, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact.

This is a unique opportunity to be driving the digitalization of air freight and logistics in a fast-growing Series B company backed by leading Venture Capital firms including Index and Bessemer.

A snapshot of what you will be doing here :

  • Partnering with senior leadership and hiring managers on complex requirements, shaping the teams that define the future of our company.
  • Owning high-impact searches in a fast-moving startup environment, ensuring we hire the right talent at the right time.
  • Building scalable recruitment processes with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, providing data-driven insights on hiring strategies, market trends, and workforce planning.
  • Coaching and supporting hiring managers across all levels to make confident hiring decisions.
  • Bringing creativity and innovation to sourcing, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Optimizing a fully remote hiring approach that sets industry standards for distributed teams.
  • Leveraging Ashby to its fullest potential, driving adoption, automation, and data-driven decision-making across our hiring processes.
  • Building strategic talent pipelines by engaging with industry communities, universities, and networks.
  • Supporting People team projects, improving processes, and rolling out new tools for scalability and global impact.
  • Shaping our employer brand and talent positioning to attract world-class talent.

What you'll need :

  • At least 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally in a mix of agency and high-growth in-house recruiting.
  • Strong track record hiring for GTM roles (sales, success, partnerships, marketing) in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Proven experience working fully remote and thriving in a distributed, asynchronous team culture.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience handling senior leaders and complex requirements.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Ashby (ATS), with a strong ability to drive automation and improve hiring workflows.
  • A technical mindset : comfortable with systems, processes, and data, and able to optimize for efficiency and scale.
  • A proactive, independent, and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes at once.
  • A growth mindset, resilience, and adaptability in environments of shifting priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English, written and spoken.
  • We think you will love working here if :

  • You enjoy working directly with senior stakeholders and thrive in fast-changing, high-growth environments.
  • You are excited by the challenge of building processes from scratch and scaling them globally.
  • You value building strong, trust-based relationships across the business.
  • You love experimenting with new tools, automation, and approaches to hiring.
  • You embrace feedback and use it to grow.
  • You see remote work as an opportunity to innovate, not a limitation.
