Seeking an experienced Loan Closer to join the Syndicated Loan Operations team on the buy side. The Syndicated Bank Loan Closer is responsible for managing the end-to-end settlement process of both primary and secondary syndicated loan trades. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate closing of trades, maintaining compliance with market standards, and supporting the firm's investment and operational objectives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep knowledge of LSTA | LMA documentation, syndicated loan workflows, and settlement platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in syndicated loan operations or trade settlement, ideally within a buy-side or sell-side institution.
• Strong familiarity with LSTA | LMA standards and syndicated loan lifecycle events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with syndicated loan settlement platforms such as ClearPar, WSO, Loan IQ, or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of trade lifecycle management and reconciliation processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
