Plan and lead recreational and educational activities (sports, arts & crafts, academic support, social development)
Ensure activities are age-appropriate and aligned with program goals
Provide direct supervision at all times — student safety is the top priority
Use positive behavior management techniques
Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Follow all state licensing regulations and organizational policies
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training
Must be 21 years of age or older
Experience working with youth preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lead and engage children in structured activities
CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass background screening and meet Missouri DHSS child care requirements
Medical and TB risk assessments required
Active role requiring standing, walking, and participation in youth activities
