Software Quality Assurance Engineer

A company is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement automated and manual test plans to validate application functionality, data integrity, and performance

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and quality goals are met

Detect, document, and track defects, driving resolution with engineering teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

3+ years of experience with software testing and knowledge of QA principles and modern testing frameworks

Hands-on experience testing fullstack applications in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React / Redux)

Backend testing skills, including advanced SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) for validating data integrity and performance

Experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and AWS cloud environments
