Staff Product Manager, Growth New User Acquisition, Eastern Timezone

By combining our knowledge of search engines, with an eye for the best user experiences, we have an opportunity to introduce Reddit to new users and transform them into deeply engaged users.
This is a unique opportunity to join the top of funnel team and shape the future of how users discover and experience Reddit across the internet. Partnered closely with an engineering manager, you will also work directly with engineers, as well as cross-functional teams to ensure the platform serving our content to 3rd parties is best in class, enabling them to crawl, understand and serve the content created on Reddit in a timely manner, with a focus on an exceptional visitor experience.
The ideal candidate can draw from an experience operating large products at scale, navigating complex tradeoffs among multiple parties and delivering real value in large organizations. Through this role you will become an expert in search engine optimization for large sites and have the ability to grow your influence by understanding the overall Reddit community to create and drive a unique product roadmap.
Candidates in EST timezone are highly preferred as this role works directly with the ToF teams based in Amsterdam / EU.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute on the vision and strategy for top of funnel platform in order to optimize our ability to rank in 3rd party search engines
- Own the roadmapping process and define the right OKRs that drive the product forward
- Design and analyze experiments that allow us to measure and attribute platform product changes to the outcomes on both search engines and the site
- Leverage your strong analytical skills to dig into data and identify the opportunities that drive the largest impact
- Partner closely with engineering to develop a roadmap, prioritize and execute to deliver the highest impact features
- Design platform products with both crawlers and customers in mind, considering the tradeoffs and ensuring we're balancing the needs of both
- Partner closely with Design and Data Science to align roadmaps and land exceptional experiences
Required Qualifications
Based in Eastern Timezones (US & CAN only)6+ years experience in consumer product managementProven experience developing long-term strategies and product roadmaps, setting OKRs, defining, running, and measuring experiments, and working collaboratively with peers from engineering, PM, data science, and other cross-functional teamsExceptional analytical skills (along with running SQL queries) as well as problem solving skills with the ability to make complex tradeoffsStrong technical background, experience with system design and high level knowledge of system architectureExcellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to align a diverse set of stakeholders toward a common goalAbility to work independently and solve problems as they ariseExperience managing large amounts of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguityPossesses a growth mindset and works in a collaborative manner with all partnersCandidates in EST timezone are highly preferredPreferred Qualifications
