Opportunity

Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Deskside Support Technician to join our team and help us support one of our great clients, including on-site support in Tempe, AZ. As the IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the organization by setting up and troubleshooting IT equipment, including laptops, monitors, and printers. You will also provide technical assistance to end-users, helping them navigate common issues and ensuring their technology needs are met. This role will focus on being on-site twice a week to help support users, and the occasional support of remote users. A successful IT Support Technician provides excellent technical support with a cheerful and professional attitude.

In this role you will be a part of our growing relationship with one of our newest clients and have responsibilities in Desktop Support such as :

Hardware & Software Support : Install, troubleshoot, and maintain laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment
IMAC Services : Handle PC installations, moves, adds, and changes with precision
System Management : Perform image loads, asset recovery, and equipment tagging
User Support : Provide friendly, professional assistance through our Client Center (Tech Bar)
Documentation : Maintain accurate IT service management records and ticketing updates
Relationship Building : Contribute to our expanding partnership with a key client

Qualifications

Previous desktop support experience preferred

Knowledge of PC imaging processes

Experience with change management and incident management protocols

Familiarity with IT ticketing systems

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+ certification

Inventory control expertise

RingCentral CX / EX experience

Requirements :

Must be within driving distance of Tempe, Arizona, and willing to work onsite

Must be willing to join our team on a temporary basis

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time

Must be able to walk up and down stairs or ramps

Must be able to kneel and work under desks or in confined spaces
