Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) is looking for a highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual. The ideal candidate should excel in customer service and have a keen eye for detail, as the role involves repairing and maintaining a commercial building in Downtown Oahu. Candidates should possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle for work. They must also pass a background check. Previous experience as a maintenance technician or in a related field is preferred. We warmly welcome enthusiastic applicants!

Full-Time Painter / Utility Maintenance Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs : plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.
• Involves constant movement, standing, walking, bending, able to stretch during shifts
• Able to lift, push, pull, press, carry a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs
• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
• Create and maintain work orders
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by HBM supervisor / property management

Skills / Qualifications :

Schedule : 40 hours a week

After probation schedule is subject to change : Monday-Friday : 8am - 4 : 30pm during training.

Compensation :   $23.00 / per hour
