2026 Visual Design Internship

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Visual Design Intern !

About the Internship :

Symetra's Internship Program for Summer 2026 is entirely remote - all interns will learn and work in a virtual setting. The internship duration is 12 weeks.

Summary :

This internship position supports corporate marketing's Design Team by assisting with the execution of Symetra's Brand System across various media. The intern will help with production tasks and learn to develop on-brand design solutions under guidance, contributing to marketing and sales materials.

Responsibilities :

• Production : Assist the Design Team in maintaining and updating existing sales and marketing collateral under supervision. Learn to incorporate ADA standards and manage digital assets. 70%
• Creation : Collaborate with senior and lead designers to explore design ideas and contribute to visual content creation. Assist in developing digital assets and, support photography selection and provide image editing assistance. 30%
