The Parts to Service Associate at Houston Motorsports plays a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination between the parts department and the service team.. This position is responsible for managing the accurate and timely distribution of parts required for vehicle maintenance and repair, directly impacting service efficiency and customer satisfaction. The associate will serve as a liaison, facilitating communication between service technicians and parts suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize downtime. By meticulously tracking parts orders, deliveries, and returns, the role supports operational continuity and cost control. Ultimately, the Parts to Service Associate contributes to the overall success of the service department by ensuring that all parts needs are met promptly and accurately, enabling high-quality service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive or powersports parts and terminology.
  • Experience with inventory management or parts coordination in a service environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience powersports industry.
  • Familiarity with parts management software or ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or parts catalogs.
  • Customer service experience, particularly in a service or retail setting.
  • Forklift certification or experience handling warehouse equipment.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of parts to the service department to support repair and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, usage, and returns to ensure proper stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Communicate effectively with service technicians to understand parts requirements and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to track orders, expedite shipments, and manage returns or warranty claims.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe parts storage area in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
