Raytheon is seeking a talented software development engineer to support our Radar Product Line Team.
Job Summary
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of software systems.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
- Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have :
A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).Experience or education with software development.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.U.S. citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications
Additionally, it would be beneficial if you had :
Experience with C++, C, Java or similar higher level programming language.Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, software development life cycle and processes.Experience in a Unix / Linux operating system.Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.What We Offer
