Job descriptionPortage is located 35 minutes from the state capital of Madison, 90 minutes from Milwaukee and about three hours from both Chicago and the Twin Cities. Close proximity to Devils Lake and Mirror Lake State parks Small town charm with residential neighborhoods and growing commercial and industrial business sites Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital offers a full continuum of services including cardiac rehab, sleep medicine, and therapies. Aspirus Health serves communities throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan with 17 hospitals, 75 clinics, home health, hospice care, air-medical transport, and a broad network of physicians. Aspirus Health is committed to being economically, socially, and environmentally responsible. Non-profit health system based in Wausau, Wisconsin. Location : Portage, WI
FTE : 1.0, Full-time
- 7 am-7 pm
- 7 shifts per 2-week period, including a weekend
- Approximately 15 patients / day
- Paired with a collaborating APC
- ICU has telehealth support
- Opportunity to moonlight at sister institutions
- BLS and ACLS certification required, along with other certifications as applicable
- Physician will provide coverage for open ICUs and for ICU level patients
- Physicians are members of the code team
- Physician must have completed an ACGME residency within the United States
