Job Purpose :
An Assembler in the Eject area is responsible for providing general labor. Performs manual and semi-automatic assembly processes to produce finished products and subassemblies

Required :
Position requires a High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing of products.
This position requires accurate and complete verbal and written communication skills between Department Supervisors and production line employees. It demands technical ability to operate computers, make accurate entries into preformatted screens, possess general math skills, and read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, flowcharts, and build plans. The role involves making minor machine adjustments, using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, pliers, utility knives, etc.) and power tools (air and electric screwdrivers, pneumatic pop riveters, etc.), setting up, running, and monitoring small pneumatic and hydraulic presses, orbital and radial riveters, assembling components with adhesives and sealants, and using inspection equipment (scales, verniers, force gauges, etc.). Leadership skills are necessary to display leadership of personnel not under direct supervision. Management skills are required to complete tasks accurately and on-time without supervising other employees. Teamwork skills are essential to work effectively in a team environment with subordinates, peers, supervisors, and managers.
Other Requirements : Physical Ability
Position requires to sit, stand, bend, and move frequently throughout the facility. Will be required to lift material not exceeding 50 lbs.

Work Environment
The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields. For the most part the employee will be exposed to ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment.
