Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 40

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 UC per shift.

Type of equipment : regular medical equipment for med-surg unit

Documentation system : Meditech

Scheduling requirements : 36hrs per week w / rotating weekends

Floating policy : Contract labor is first to float to like units

Patient Experience requirements : 1+years

Must Have : 1 year Recent Med-surg hospital experience and BLS

Procedures performed on unit : EKGs, Glums, Venipuncture

Application and testing from agency required to be submitted.
