Job Description :

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk specializing in collections to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities :

• Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding payments and resolve any issues related to unpaid invoices.
• Analyze customer accounts to identify overdue balances, discrepancies, and apply payments accurately.
• Prepare and send out invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Negotiate and establish payment plans with customers to facilitate timely collections.
• Generate and distribute regular reports on collections activities, outstanding balances, and payment trends.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from customers regarding their accounts and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and communications with customers.
• Ensure all collections activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
