HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Davie, Florida.

Shift : 7am - 7pm - 36 Guaranteed hours

Start dates are typically negotiable

Must have :

👉 2 years of recent experience

👉 NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN (intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring every 2 years or current NCC certification in EFM)

👉 Must be able to labor, deliver and recover patients, assist with baby after delivery, circulate and recover cesarean section patients, able to care for high-risk patients in the perinatal unit.

👉 Must be able to care for all facets of the pregnant patient throughout the pregnancy period up to and including delivery vaginal or operative.

About the unit(s) :

👉 Number of Beds :  9 labor beds, 3 triage beds, and 7 perinatal unit beds

👉 Type of Staff :  one or 2 techs on each shift, secretary on day shift

👉 Patient Ratios : labor and delivery 2 : 1, perinatal 4 : 1

👉 Type of Equipment : Hill-Rom beds, Panda Warmers

👉 Documentation System : Meditech, CPN

👉 Call Requirements : (3) 12 hour shifts / week and one call shift per month

👉 Floating Requirements : float to perinatal unit and post-partum
