Job Overview

RM Rodriguez Construction LP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a career-launching opportunity designed for individuals eager to break into commercial construction. You’ll gain direct, hands-on experience supporting estimating, scheduling, documentation, and jobsite coordination under the mentorship of experienced professionals. From pre-construction to closeout, you’ll learn the full lifecycle of construction management and build the foundation for long-term career growth in this dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with quantity take-offs and trade-specific estimating

Support subcontractor outreach, bid package preparation, and bid tracking

Help manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation logs

Learn how to monitor budgets, change orders, and construction schedules

Attend jobsite walks and team meetings to observe and assist in coordination

Organize construction drawings, specs, and vendor submittals

Provide administrative support to project managers

Train on industry software and construction management workflows

Embrace a team-first, quality-focused work environment

Qualifications

Recent graduate in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field

Internship, trade school, or labor experience in construction a plus

Demonstrated interest in commercial construction and project management

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Effective communicator – both written and verbal

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace preferred

Eagerness to learn and contribute; takes initiative

Comfortable in both office and field settings

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
