Job Title : Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) - ISUDT

Location : Chowchilla, California

Employment Type : Full-Time Contract (6-9 months, with potential for extension)

Pay Range : $67.00 - $69.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to provide behavioral health services as part of the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program in a secure clinical environment in Chowchilla, CA. This full-time contract position offers competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, and the opportunity to convert to a permanent state role with full benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide therapeutic interventions including individual and group counseling
  • Support the ISUDT program by delivering targeted substance use and mental health services
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
  • Perform assessments that facilitate transitional care and link patients to community resources post-release
  • Provide therapy within the context of family systems and biopsychosocial dimensions with solution-focused goals
  • Document patient progress, participate in care planning, and coordinate discharges and transfers
  • Attend required case conferences, trainings, meetings, and committee sessions

Required Qualifications

  • Experience : At least 12 continuous months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years
  • Licensure : Valid MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (hard copy required)
  • Certification : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Identification : Valid Photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport
