Job Title : CT Technologist Profession : CT Technologist Specialty : CT Technologist Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 30 PM Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required License : Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography Certifications : ARRT (CT), BLS, ARRT Must-Have : GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required Description : Under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead, the CT technologist performs diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. The CT technologist ensures patient safety in all procedures and provides excellent customer service. CT scanning must be performed at a high level of proficiency, including IV and oral / GI contrast administration. The ability to respond effectively in an emergency is essential. EMR documentation capabilities are required. Effective communication and organization skills are necessary. A professional and positive demeanor must be demonstrated. Familiarity with Epic and Visage charting systems is preferred. Rotating shifts are required as necessary.
